BAGPACKS

List of safety warnings for BACKPACKS based on the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety (GPSR):

• Ensure that the backpack is properly fitted to your body shape. A poorly fitted backpack can cause back, shoulder, and neck pain.
• Do not overload the backpack. Excessive weight can lead to spine and posture problems.
• Distribute weight evenly. Place heavier items close to your back for better balance.
• Pay attention to sharp edges or protruding elements. They may pose a risk of cuts or damage to other items.
• Check the technical condition of the backpack. Regularly inspect seams, zippers, and straps to ensure they are not damaged. Damage may lead to sudden tearing of the backpack and dropping of the contents.
• Beware of flammable materials. Avoid backpacks made of materials that ignite easily, especially if working in areas exposed to high temperatures or contact with fire.
• Protect the backpack from moisture and extreme weather conditions. Prolonged exposure to moisture can lead to mold and fungus growth, and extreme temperatures can weaken the material.
• Keep the backpack clean. Regular cleaning prevents the accumulation of dirt and bacteria, which can cause allergies or skin irritation.
• Use the backpack in accordance with its intended purpose. Do not use hiking backpacks to carry heavy tools if they are not designed for it.
• Secure the backpack while riding a bicycle or motorcycle. Ensure that the backpack does not restrict visibility or freedom of movement.

Following the above rules reduces the risk of injury, equipment breakdown, and property damage. Ignoring them may lead to serious health and technical problems.Detailed information and additional warnings can be found in the user manual included with the product or in PDF format on the manufacturer/supplier website.
